Joanne McNeil is a writer interested in the ways technology is shaping art, identity, and culture.
She was a 2012 USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism fellow. She is the former editor of the news site for Rhizome at the New Museum, an organization in New York City dedicated to the creation, presentation, preservation, and critique of emerging artistic practices that engage technology. Previously, Joanne edited the blog, The Tomorrow Museum. Her writing has appeared in Frieze, Modern Painters, Wired, the LA Times, and other web and print publications.
