IRIS is a performance framework for vvvv patches. It provides a programming structure for many performance scenarios, standardizing the content components for reuse and sharing. Due to it’s modular and scalable architecture, it takes little effort to adapt IRIS from a single screen setup to complex situations, such as 3D mappings, multi projector setups, LED walls, etc. – with many performers operating simultaneously.
You will learn about the underlying concepts and usage of IRIS and set up your own IRIS project. You’ll be designing your first modules and explore them in a demo performance with the whole workshop class.
